Timing & Scoring Transponders

Transponders are used for recording lap times and are mandatory for all classes.

Transponders are rentals (included in your entry fee) and must be returned after the race.

Where/When do you receive your transponder? Race Registration

• Your transponder unit will be assigned at onsite registration and will come with two heavy duty zip ties.
• You are responsible for mounting your transponder to your vehicle prior to your vehicle arriving at Technical Inspection.
• Details on how to properly mount your transponders will be provided to you at onsite registration.
• Our staff will be at Technical Inspection, to verify you have mounted your transponder in the correct position.  

Where/When do you return your transponder? RacingTrax (Located in the finishers corral before the stage)

• RacingTrax will be located directly before the main stage / podium, next to the finishers corral.
• Our staff will do our best to remove your units at the finish line, but it is still your responsibility to make sure the unit is returned.
• If you DNF, please return the units to avoid late return fees.

Transponder Security Deposit (Hold): Rather than have you fill out more registrations/paperwork, we will automatically apply a $200 hold to your stored payment method on the Driver/Rider of Record's UNLTD account Wednesday of race week. This is not a charge - simply a hold to make sure you return your transponder after your race. 100% of this hold will be refunded when you return your transponder to RacingTrax at the finish line.

Transponder late fees: If you do not return your transponder onsite, your $200 hold will turn into a charge.

• $175 refund will be issued for transponders received by the first Friday after the event.
• $150 refund will be issued for transponders received by the second Friday after the event.
• $100 refund will be issued for transponders received by the third Friday after the event.
• $50 refund will be issued for transponders received by the fourth Friday after the event.
• $0 refund will be issued for transponders received after the fourth Friday after the event.
