Parker 400 Exhibitor Space

Welcome, Exhibitors and Vendors, to the 51st Anniversary of the legendary Parker 400! We’re excited to bring you and your businesses face-to-face with thousands of off-road enthusiasts who gather each year for this iconic event. Our top priority is to ensure you have a successful and safe experience.

Below you will find a step-by-step guide on the necessary permits, licenses, and procedures required for exhibiting and selling your products and services in Parker, Arizona, and on Colorado River Indian Tribal (CRIT) land.

Please review this information carefully, as adherence to these guidelines is essential before arriving at the Downtown Experience and the CRIT Gauntlet Start/Finish area. For any questions, feel free to contact us. Thank you for your continued support and partnership!

Parker 400 Exhibitor Rules & Regulations:

Parker 400 Vendor and Exhibitor Rules and Regulations

Compliance with the following rules and regulations, as well as all local, state, and federal laws, is required to maintain your exhibiting/vendor privileges. Requirements may vary depending on whether you are vending or exhibiting within the Town of Parker or on Colorado River Indian Tribal (CRIT) lands. Non-compliance may result in restricted access or removal from the premises without a refund. If any of the rules here are found to be invalid by law, the remaining rules will still apply.

Exhibitor/Vendor acknowledges that as a condition of entering the Parker 400 Event, information regarding Exhibitor/Vendor’s name, address, telephone number, and business name and address will be considered public and available for dissemination at The Parker 400’s sole discretion for the purpose of reporting to the Arizona Department of Revenue, Town of Parker, and Colorado River Indian Tribes.

  1. Tax Obligations: All vendors must pay Arizona State and CRIT taxes when applicable. Vendors are responsible for filing for an Arizona TPT account and paying taxes directly to the State. If you sell products or services on Colorado River Indian Tribal lands, you must file a tax return and report your income within 30 days of the close of the event.
  2. Space Transfer Restrictions: Your Exhibitor/Vendor space may not be sold or transferred to another company or person.
  3. No Subletting: You may not sublet, lease, rent, or allow another company or Exhibitor/Vendor to utilize your designated Exhibitor space. No exceptions.
  4. Event Placement: The Parker 400 “Downtown Experience” and Off-Road Festival is booked on a first-come, first-served basis. We try our best to fulfill all requests, but we cannot guarantee exact placement due to the layout (curbs, fire hydrants, handicapped parking spaces) and city codes.
  5. Payment Requirements: Payment must be made in full, using our online payment system. All Parker 400 Exhibitor/Vendor Event applications are subject to approval. We reserve the right to deny any exhibitor/vendor application for any reason.
  6. Footprint Adjustments: If your footprint requirements change after you book with us, please contact us right away to update your layout. Increasing your footprint may result in additional charges. Changes to your layout, resulting in a larger footprint, are not generally permitted the day of the event.
  7. Refund and Cancellation Policy: For refunds or cancellation, please contact us via email. Please note, The Parker 400 does not issue cash refunds, rain checks, credits, wire transfers, coupons, or refunds of any kind during the Event.
  8. Check-In and Load-In: Exhibitors are required to check in with Parker 400 staff and load in at their scheduled times. Failure to show up at the correct time & location may result in the loss of your Exhibitor/Vendor spot.
  9. Space Restrictions: Regardless of your assigned space, Exhibitors/Vendors must not block fire hydrants, the flow of pedestrians on sidewalks, wheelchair access to cross the streets, and/or use of handicapped ramps.
  10. Prohibited Items: Exhibitors/Vendors are prohibited from distributing or selling fireworks, firearms, weapons of any kind, materials of adult nature, marijuana, tobacco, vape juice or vape pens, or any items prohibited by state and local law.
  11. Food and Alcohol Approvals: Prepared food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages must be approved prior to the event, and those vendors must have state-approved food handlers licenses and pass onsite inspections.
  12. Fire Safety: All Exhibitors and Vendors must have a working fire extinguisher in their booth space at all times, regardless of whether you are using electrical power or other combustible products.
  13. Open Flame Restrictions: Open fires are not permitted. No BBQs - gas or charcoal - no propane heaters, no open flames.
  14. Generator Use: Exhibitors/Vendors are permitted to use portable generator power 3k and less, provided they have a “quiet mode” and do not expel excess fumes. Semi trucks with onboard generator power are permitted.
  15. Clean-Up Responsibility: Exhibitors/Vendors are responsible for keeping their area clean from trash during the Event and leaving the premises clean prior to load-out. There are multiple dumpsters available for trash deposit. Exhibitors/Vendors that leave trash behind will be charged a $500 cleanup fee.
  16. Code of Conduct: Exhibitors/Vendors shall at all times dress, act, display, and engage with the public and other Exhibitors/Vendors in a professional manner. Any Exhibitor/Vendor that uses lewd, or offensive language, threatens physical violence, accosts or harasses the public or other Exhibitors/Vendors, or is drunk and/or disorderly shall be removed from the Event and Premises.
  17. Sponsorship and Partner Designation: Vending at the Parker 400 Off Road Festival does not include “Official Parker 400 Sponsor” or “Official Parker 400 Partner” designation. Contact us directly if you wish to be an official sponsor or partner of the Parker 400.
  18. Trademark and Logo Use: “The Parker 400™” is a registered trademark of The Parker 400 Inc. You are welcome to use our logo to promote your attendance and booth location at the Event on social media and in print. However, please contact us PRIOR to using our logo on anything promotional or that is for sale. Use of the Parker 400 name or logo without a proper license is strictly forbidden.
  19. Merchandise Pricing: In an effort to protect Official Parker 400 licensed clothing, Exhibitors/Vendors are prohibited from selling t-shirts or sweatshirts for less than $25.00.
  20. Pet Policy: Please keep your pets leashed at all times and pick up after them. The Town of Parker and CRIT require all pet owners to be in control of their animals at all times.

Dates and Locations of Parker 400 Exhibiting and Vending:

The Parker Downtown Experience

Date & Time: Thursday January 16th, Noon - 8pm
Location: Downtown Parker. West Arizona Avenue, between South Laguna Avenue and South California Avenue (Hwy 95)

The Parker 400 CRIT Gauntlet Start/Finish Event Area

Dates & Times: Thursday January 16th, Friday January 17th, and Saturday January 18th, 7am - 10pm
Location: CRIT Gauntlet. 2100 Mutahar St, Parker, AZ 85344

These are the only two approved locations for exhibiting or vending at our event.

There is no exhibiting or vending at the BlueWater Hotel/Casino or in spectator areas.

Step 1: Register with The Parker 400.


Step 2: Obtain a Vendor/Business Permit


Permits Needed for the Downtown Experience:
If you are selling or exhibiting at The Parker 400 Downtown Experience you will need to submit a Town of Parker One Day Vendor Permit and mail it with payment prior to the event.


Permits Needed for the CRIT Gauntlet:
If you are selling or exhibiting at the CRIT Gauntlet in our main event area, you will need to submit an application for a Temporary Business License and mail it with payment prior to the event.

Step 3: Provide Insurance to The Parker 400

You must have insurance coverage to be an exhibitor or vendor at any/all of our events. All exhibitors must provide a certificate of commercial general liability insurance, naming “The Arizona Race Corp” as Additionally Insured. It must include commercial auto liability coverage on this certificate if you’ll be parking a vehicle on the premises (Downtown Parker or CRIT Gauntlet) such as a semi truck or trailer. It must also include workers compensation insurance if you have any employees working at the event.

Step 4: Sales Taxes

Tax Forms Needed for the Downtown Experience:

If you are selling at The Parker 400 Downtown Experience you are responsible for paying Arizona state sales tax. We do not collect taxes or pay them on your behalf. Generally speaking, if you are an Arizona state based business (either with a physical location or not) - you will report and pay your taxes as normal.

If you are an out-of-state seller with no physical presence in Arizona, you need to register as a new business, (not as a remote seller), request a seasonal TPT (Transactional Privilege Tax) and list the dates: 1/16/25 - 1/18/25

You must file your taxes within 30 days of the event, or before the end of February.

Tax Forms Needed for the CRIT Gauntlet:

If you are selling at the CRIT Gauntlet in our main event area, you must pay the general sales tax rate of 2%. We do not collect taxes or pay them on your behalf. After the event you need to complete a CRIT Form TR-1 Tax Return and submit it by January 31st. Instructions can be found HERE.
