Pit Information Guide
Access to Parker 400 pits is for race teams only.
Pit Speed Limits:
Race speed in any pit is 25mph speed zone.
Pit Crew speed on all dirt roads leading to pit is 25 mph.
Pit Access Requirements:
There are two things you need to access the pits:
- Any person entering a pit needs to have a Waiver Wristband.
- Any person entering a pit needs to have a Pit Access Wristband.
- Any vehicle entering a pit needs to have a Vehicle Pit Pass or Race Camping Pass (Main Pit Only)
Waiver Wristbands:
Any person entering a pit needs to sign The Parker 400 event waiver and have a Waiver Wristband. This is to identify that you have signed the event waiver. This includes children, who must have an adult with them at all times.
Adult Waiver - The 2025 Parker 400 adult waiver is now available to sign on this page.
Minor Waiver - The 2025 Parker 400 minor waiver is now available to sign on this page.
- Where do you pick up Waiver Wristbands onsite? Waiver Wristband pick up locations can be found on this page.
- Can a team manager pick up all of my teams Waiver Wristbands all at once? No.
Each individual must pick up their own waiver wristband in person from a pick up location.
Pit Access Wristbands:
Because camping and pitting are located within the same area and there is ample space for teams to pit, we will not be registering pit crew members at The Parker 400.
Anyone entering the pits will still (and always) need to sign the Parker 400 event waiver on this page, but no further registration/wristbands will be required for pit access at Parker.
Any person entering a pit needs to have a Pit Access Wristband. This is to identify that you are part of a race team. This includes children, who must have an adult with them at all times.
How do you register your Pit Crew Members? Click here for more instructions.
- Pre-Registered Pit Crew:
- Your Driver of Record will be given all pre-registered Pit Access Wristbands at onsite registration, so pit crew members do not need to go to drivers registration.
- Pit Crew members should go straight to waiver pick up located beside the red merchandise truck at Tech to pick up your Waiver Wristband.
- Non Pre-Registered Pit Crew:
- You may purchase Pit Access Wristbands onsite for $30 from the box office at the front entrance.
- Before you can purchase a Pit Access Wristband, you must first have a Waiver Wristband. A waiver station will be positioned directly next to the box office.
Vehicle Pit Passes:
Any vehicle entering a pit must have a pit pass for the correct day. This is to identify that you are part of a race team. If you are moving into the pits early, it is your responsibility to put these vehicle pit passes on all vehicles moved in before race day.
There is only one Vehicle Pit Pass for each race day. This will get you in to all pits.
- The Thursday Vehicle Pit Pass will get your vehicle into all pits on Thursday.
- The Friday Vehicle Pit Pass will get your vehicle into all pits on Friday.
- The Saturday Vehicle Pit Pass will get your vehicle into all pits on Saturday.
How many vehicle pit passes do you get?
- Cars/Trucks – Each Driver of Record will be issued (6) vehicle pit passes at on-site registration.
- Motorcycles – Each Rider of Record will be issued (4) vehicle pit passes at on-site registration.
Where do I put them? Pit passes must be displayed on the front windshield, on the upper passenger side of the vehicle window.
Approved Pitting Locations (4 Pits):
There are four approved pitting locations at The Parker 400. You are not approved to pit anywhere else along the race course. All pits are designated for race teams who are actively racing, and should be used for pitting operations only. Space is limited, please only use the space you need and make efficient use of the space.
Main Pit Move In: You may move in to your camping/pitting areas as soon as pre-running begins.
Remote Pit Move In: If you're not camping, approximately one hour before the start of your race.
Remote Pit Move Out: Immediately after your race concludes. Please note - Midway is an isolated pit for the Limited and Unlimited Car/Truck/UTV races. Driving between Midway Pit and CAP Canal Pit is not allowed. Teams must be in Midway by the start of the race and remain in place until 5pm or released from UNLTD Race Ops.
Entering/Exiting the Pit (Race Vehicles):
Pit Speed Zones: Race speed in all pits is 25 mph.
GPS File Markings vs. Ground Course Markings:
Course markings on the ground always take priority over what is provided on the GPS file, both in pits and on the entire race course.
Stop Checks:
- Stop Checks entering the pit are noted as “STOP CHECK, 25MPH SZ BEGINS” on the GPS file.
- All vehicles must come to a complete stop before entering the 25mph speedzones.
- Please use caution, as we will have course workers in that exact location.
Resume Race Speed:
- When it is approved to resume race speed, it is noted as “25MPH SZ ENDS” on the GPS file.
- All vehicles may resume race speed when passing through the resume race speed signs.
